Are your products suitable for oily skin?
Absolutely. The products in the Fred Mécène range, including Le bio de teint and Le bio correcteur , are non-comedogenic. They do not clog pores and are therefore ideal for skin prone to blemishes or acne.
I suffer from eczema, acne, rosacea, psoriasis... is your range suitable?
No problem, on the contrary! Our range is designed to suit all skin types, including the most sensitive. Their water-free formulas are exceptionally rich in certified organic active ingredients, gentle, non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic. They hydrate the skin while protecting and soothing it.
Are your products suitable for mature skin?
Yes, our range is perfectly suited to mature skin. Our textures are lightweight and hydrating, do not dry out the skin and even out the skin tone while minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Although our range is not an anti-aging treatment, the natural and organic ingredients help to maintain the skin's hydration and suppleness, which can improve its appearance over time.
Is organic foundation long lasting?
Yes, Le bio de teint offers long-lasting wear. Its water-free formula won't evaporate and remains comfortable all day long while resisting heat, humidity and oily skin conditions, for a fresh and luminous complexion until evening. Pro tip: set it with a translucent loose powder to maximize wear.
Are your products tested on animals?
No, the products in the Fred Mécène range are not tested on animals and do not contain any ingredients of animal origin. We are proud to offer you certified vegan and cruelty-free cosmetics, certified by the PETA label , respectful of animal life and the environment.
Where are your products manufactured?
Our Fred Mécène formulations and packaging are made in Italy, in compliance with strict European standards for organic and vegan cosmetics. We ensure the highest quality while respecting the environment.
How long do the products last?
The fluid and adjustable textures of our formulas allow you to use very little for optimal coverage. The organic foundation lasts about 6 to 9 months while the organic corrector can last up to a year.
Does organic fluid foundation contain SPF?
The organic foundation does not contain an SPF sunscreen because the amount contained in cosmetics is not sufficient to protect you. We recommend that you apply a non-comedogenic sunscreen underneath to protect your skin from UV rays while enjoying the benefits of our foundation. In case of prolonged exposure to the sun, you can use an SPF mist to apply on top during the day.
Is it possible to receive samples to test the shade before purchasing?
For ecological reasons, we do not send samples. However, you can consult the list of our partner points of sale to test directly in store. Otherwise, you can also answer our easy and quick questionnaire to be advised by Fred, our founder and makeup artist for 40 years.
Can I use your complexion products while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Yes, the products in the Fred Mécène range are safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding. They are formulated without toxic substances or endocrine disruptors, with organic ingredients that are gentle and respectful of the skin. If you have any doubts, consult your doctor.
What base do you recommend?
Since our products are already moisturizing, there is no need to apply a rich cream underneath. For dry skin, we recommend using a serum, a non-greasy raw vegetable oil or a light cream, preferably organic. For combination to oily skin, you can opt for a mattifying base or a light serum. Let your base penetrate for a few moments before applying makeup.

Once your order has been shipped by our logistics center, you will receive an email with your tracking number. Do not hesitate to consult your customer area.
What is the delivery time?
This depends on the delivery method chosen, as well as the country where you wish to be delivered. Allow 3 days in France and up to 8 working days for deliveries in the European Union.
Is there a charge for delivery?
In metropolitan France, shipping costs are free from 50 euros of purchase if you choose delivery via Colissimo or Mondial Relay. Under 50 euros, count 4.20 euros and in the European Union, count 6.90 euros.
